Super bob plan

Should we bob the Confederate Toy 85 this much? I did the best I could with paint.

seems pointless....you can only bob soo much...springs have to have somewhere to mount...be kinda stupid to bob the bed that much, then have your frame sticking out the back because of the springs.

unless you moved the front spring hanger basically up underneath the cab, then you have to put the gas tank somewhere else because it will no longer fit.

and when you get that short, you'll want a wider stance, unless you leave it at stock height....short in length, and tall in height, equals lots of rollovers. unless you are fairly wide.

heres what you would have to do....

1 - Move the FRONT shackle mount forward to the middle of the body.
2 - refab the REAR shackle mount
3 - shorten the rear drive shaft
4 - cut your bed off, basically
5 - cut the frame rails to length
6 - move the front axle forward.
7 - tons of other crap

honesstly... if you want your toyota that small, go buy a suzuki samurai

lol yea, i get carried away with ideas, then i get shot down like that.

just bob the bed right up to the rear shackle, and do the frame the same..that's been just about perfect for most people.

It would be pretty cool to go that short, but I'll prolly cut it to the stock shackle location. Its all just plans in my head right now though.
