Replacing Oil Pump

Replacing Oil Pump
Im going to be replacing the timing chain and guides on my 84 4Runner, and while everything is a part im also replacing the water pump and oil pump, when i replace the oil pump is it just a matter of unbolting the old pump and bolting on the new oil pump ?, does anything else need to be done ?. the reason im replacing the oil pump is because it has 240,000 miles on it and while everything is a part it would be a good time to do it.

Wtf? Grease?? Are you serious?? Ive never heard of that. I definetly would not want grease floating around in my engine. If youre worried about a dry start, which really isnt that bad. I would use a heavy weight OIL to pre lube it. Other wise, I would just bolt it on, thats what I di anyways. Works fine.
