Power Window Question

I recently purchased an 84 4 runner. The PO said that the windows were dead and would have to be replaced. After getting the FSM for an '85 I figured out the little breaker in the kick panel by the fuses. My problem is now I can roll my driverside window up and down and i can roll my passenger side window down but not up. Does any one know what else would cause this.

Thanks

Adam

x2. I had the same problem. It was a worn passenger side switch. Search eBay if you don't want to do Roger's trick.

Alright I will give that a shot with the JB weld as soon as I can get some free time and I'll keep you updated.

Ok so I did a little testing over my lunch break. It appears that the rocker is not the only problem. I pulled the switch out and pulled it apart. From what i can see it gets power out of the switch down to the window motor how ever the window only rolls down still no up movement.

So I kinda figured it out at least what the problem was. I was having a grounding issue in the driverside door panel. I got that figured out and I can now roll both windows up and down with the driverside now I just have to rework the passenger side again so I can roll that side up.
