rounded vs. squared fenders, different body lines, different tailgate style. look closely, you'll see it. and it's not that it looks bad or anything, just that it's different. i kinda like it

Yea not bad, just pointing out that it was not stock. The beds are very prone to rust, probably the reason for replacement.

Nice truck. I also like the detail work on the engine. Little things like painting the pulleys looks sharpe.

85 Dlx 22r All stock except for 4inch lift and a 12inch bobb. stock gears. work in progress. It's my second toyota.

Thanks. That was about 2500 miles ago when i got it rebuilt. My oil pressure line came off one day while i was drivin. Runs like a champ now , before i couldnt get past 3rd gear now i use 5th all day haha. Its clean tho i made stainless door panels ill put a pic up later if i remember

Whats the best way to move the front axle forward?
I plan to cut some of the wheel well and body mount for added space but seems like a slight shift forward would make a world of a difference.

RUF pack or get a spring hanger and pull it forward.

the 4r has an LCE 22re in it...so I am pulling the 22re out of the '85 and putting it in my '83

Just bought this today for dirt cheap 85 efi,10k on engine and tranny, 252k on everything else, automatic, blocks on the rear,4in springs in front, needs breaks gone through, and check engine codes fixed to get it out of limp mode.
