I like both your front and rear bumper a lot; those are exactly what I want for my new-to-me '85 T4R!

Did you buy them or fab them yourself?

More details please...

What you think?
Nice! What work has been done to it? And how does it run?

Ok... Ill do my best to answer the questions... I did not fab the bumpers, I actually bought this truck just like you see it in the pictures for $3400. I thought that was a pretty good deal... after looking at tons of them. My opinion on the front... the bumper was bought... and then the tubing added to it later. Not sure who made it though... one of my buddies suggested Warn, but I doubt it. As far as the back bumper... I really cant tell... it seems very well made. As far as work that has been done... Everything is pretty stock SR5 (which I liked), except the bumpers and the lift. The guy I bought it from said he thought it had 8 inches of suspension, and it also has a 3 inch body lift. Not so sure about the suspension... I haven't seen anything in the 8 inch range available. It runs great!! I actually bought it in Virginia and drove it back to SC... about a 5 hour drive. I did replace the back bearings and axle seals and re-packed the front bearings and replaced seals. It rides great!! Engine seems strong!! I need to replace the back wheel cylinders due to some leakage... but thats all that I have left for necessary mechanic type work. I love it!!

thanks, this is my first toyota or 4x4 truck even. I've always loved the look of these trucks and seen one for sale for a decent price so I got it, but I think I payed way way to much for it and I kind of regret it . Its got a couple issues like bad frame rust and either carb problems or a vacum leak cause it runs really rough and is hard to start sometimes. I fixed the frame rust already, it was so bad that the frame sagged down and the gap between the bed and cab was completely closed up.

Nice paint job on that one. Plenty of room for some more rubber too.

I would gladly have paid $3,400 for that and then flown back to Virginia to then drive it home now to north Texas.

Would you be willing to take any measurements off your front bumper so I can fab something similar for my own new-to-me '85 T4R?

Yeah... I thought it was a great deal. Just a tiny update... I got all my lights working correctly on the inside... deck lamp, map lights, and dome light... pretty sweet. I dont mind taking measurements at all... what you want me to measure??
