new paint on my 85

Hey guys, a few months ago i bought an 85 ext cab sr5 pickup the box was pretty much rusted away to nothing but the rest of the truck was in pretty good shape considering that this truck was used to haul garbage to the dump. So i bought a parts truck that had a box with fiberglass sides it needed some work done to it i had to put in new wheel tubs and fix some of the rotten metal. After the box was finished i used a bedliner and painted the entire truck to give it a rough look and then using spray paint painted the truck and got new tires and rims and painted the rims black. Here is a few before and after pics.

Wow, that's the color I wanted mine to be, and your's is flat also.

Very, very well done!!!! I wish I could see it in person. I'm quite jealous.

I had my paint mixed and flattened and it came out brighter than yours. But once I was into the paint job, I accepted it and now enjoy the looks (painted my beadlocks with the same color to boot). Linky to my photo album here. Search MIOBI on youtube to find videos of my rig

the color i used was krylon italian olive satin finish, it took me about 12 cans and I find that wherever i go its always turning heads, pretty good for a rattle can job.

Are you in the States? Haven't seen a J-bed on a 4x4 Yota built after 83, but it LOOKS like it has 4x4 rear wheel wells.

I love it, this is the exact look I'm planning for my truck. Looks like Buckshot mudders, what size tires?
