Need help diagnosing idle problem

Hi, I'm in dire need of figuring out this idle issue I have. It's similar to having a bad tps sensor. It looses power/can't go any further than 3000rpms in 4th and 5th gear. It doesn't want to go past 65/70. I have replaced the distributor, tps sensor, adjusted the tps ensor, newer spark plug and wires. I've ran a smoke machine and there are no leaks. I've replaced the gaskets and fluids and have a new timing chain. It seems like my starter may be going/has some wear. I simply don't know where to go. I've had a few machines look at it and they don't either. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
edit: I have a 22re 1985 4wd pickup

Does it rev out in 1st,2nd, and 3rd?
Have you replaced the fuel filter(on that truck, I'm pretty sure its under the intake manifold)? It sounds like maybe a fuel pressure/starvation issue-maybe a fuel pump or screen in the gas tank. Did the problem appear after you filled the car with gas?It sure sounds like you've gone above and beyond with the ignition stuff. It's not too hard to have the fuel pressure checked at the engine, but even if that's OK, it may still be dropping at WOT and maximum load, like in 4th and 5th.
Maybe the fuel pressure regulator?

- I am wondering whether it's the timing. I put in a new distributor and didn't time it. I havent thought of the fuel injector. It doesnt seem likely tho because i have full power 1st to 3rd/beginning of 4th and 5th gear. I replaced the fuel pump and fuel pump hanger and shes happy over in that area. With a new fuel sock as well. I did think about the fuel injection tho and wondered if this was an issue those going bad could cause but fuses are solid and another head said the fuel seems fine.

I had a problem with my tps. I installed a new one and nothing changed. I got a used one from a parts truck and it worked.

that makes sense. You need to adjust the tos sensor accordingly to spec. I did mine but may have done it improperly. Thank you

What size tires do you have? Almost sounds like big tires and stock gears.

@aztoyman I had been having the idle issues with basic stock 29in tires, I had recently upgraded to Mickey Ts 31" exp. That being said, I didn't know gears had to be adjusted accordingly to larger tires

OK, I was just wondering if it started after going to large tires. Yes, a gear change is "often" needed for larger diameter tires. Especially with a small engine. To get back to stock like performance with 31" tires 4.56 gears are a good match. That's what was on my 88 when I bought it. My son put 35's on his truck with the stock 4.10 gears and he couldn't use 5th gear unless going down hill with a tail wind. Gutless. I swapped in 5.29 gears to get him where it needed to be.

Yes, you need to properly set timing and the TPS. Good luck, I hope you get it running properly.
