I like the look. I do have one question though. It looks like the edge of your bed sticks out a little past the cab. Aren't you a little worried that sharp corner will catch on something? ie..tree or rock

couldnt the front corners be tapered in to behind the cab?

Just throwing out ideas.

It looks good though.

Maine is REALLY strict about height laws and covering tires completely, so I wanted to keep the bed wide enough to cover the entire sidewall. I thought about tapering it in, but I'm making a headboard and bed sides next, and I wanted them to be straight, mainly for ease of fabrication, less cutting and welding...

hey superflex,
how much money and hours do you believe you have invested in the truck?
that looks like a very extensive and labor intensive build

yup.
4100 in parts including the cost of both donor vehicles
and approx 250 hrs of labor most of which was spent on sandblasting frame and body prep.

Flex - Could you measure the "Bed Lift" it looks like 2" square on the rear bed mounts and 2" plus 5" or 6" in the front bed mounts. Also what size tires are you running? I'll be building my flatbed this Sunday and only ever want to run 33" tires. So if you have an idea of how much clearance i would need i would appreciate it.

Nice truck man. What is the name of the rims and where did you get them from? That is some nice rubber.
