Clinometer Info/Pics

I don't have one yet but if I can find one to match my interior, I'm keeping it. If I ever come across another one I'll definitely put it up for sale on Yotatech

Dublin thanks, that looks awesome. Was it hard to mount, do the contours match up (does it sit flush on the dash pad)?

Haven't permanently mounted it yet, just sitting on velcro for now. The contour of the 2nd gen dash is a little different than the 1st gen, so depending on the cover it might sit pretty flat. So far I've seen 3 slight cover differences for the 1st gen including the Tercel clinometer. the tercel cover fits best followed by the earliest 1st gen (slight change in 87 up). Also I've seen 2 versions for the 2nd gen, the earlier 90-91 sits completely flat, where the 92 up has a slanted bottom to tuck it closer to the dash on the right handed models.

Thats exactly were I put mine when I had my second gen. I just velcrowed it down. I painted the shell black with some duplicolor plasticote paint stuff. I jammed it into that indention on the top of the dashboard on the passanger side.

I managed to fit one in mine:

Had to mod the inclinometer as well as the dash. Since the dash was sunchecked anyway, it was no big deal. I don't think any of the Toyota iclinometers will go one without some modification. Wiring was east though... just 12v (from lights) and a ground.

Be careful if you go this route though, because your duct work is just underneath the pad. Plus there is a metal bar/ strap running across the top. I cut some out to make the gauge sit level. I ended up with this:

The pic doesn't really do it justice. In reality, it's very close to level and the browns blend really well. I thought I'd use it a lot more than I do. It's nice to have when things get real tippy... just as a reference. Plus is spooks the GF when I get past 30 degrees is any direction.
