Dude that is an awesome truck it's really clean too. I didn't see it listed on how big your lift was; because you have the same size tires as I do and it looks like you have a ÅÅÅÅ load of clearence unlike me, I rub anytime I go to turn it doesn't even have to be at lock, so I was wondering what size it was. How long have you had that? I have an 1984 4runner she's nice but right now I am working on getting it back on the road. I wanted to up load pics but my scanner is acting up I'll have to try again later.

Smile Lift...

I have OME (Old Man Emu) springs only. That gives me maybe 2.5 or 3.0" of lift. No rubbing with 33 X 12.5".

Jim, everytime I see your truck, I get jealous. Awesome looking truck. You make me want to keep my chrome strip (actually would have to get a new one) on the bottom of my truck. One of these days (to be read: once truck is driving well), I need to drive over the pass and hit one of the runs with you all so I can drool on your truck and not on my keyboard.

That is a really nice looking truck. I have an 84 too but it doesn't look anything like that. I'll see if I can find our camera and take some pictures tonight. Mine is a work truck. It has ladder racks and a flat bed on it.

I also just got a 93 I'm hoping to get going.

1984

Here are a couple of my 1984. This belonged to a friend of mine for about ten years. He did a complete restoration on it when he got. It sat for the last two or so years and now I have it. All I have left to get it to pass inspection is the e-brake, horn and reverse lights. It also needs a few minor repairs and a stereo.

My first was an '84 Model 8501 (bone-stock, not even a rear bumper!). No power steering (frightening bump-steer) and no a/c (that was a bummer when I drove to Cabo San Lucas in the middle of summer). I still have dreams about this truck...

hey ewayota, if jim's truck makes you jelious than just wait till you see mine, she's awesome looking and so clean, she just looks like a beast. I can't wait to load pics so you guys can see her and tell me what you think. I am hoping to have her back on the road this coming week, my bf just finished helping me put the lift on so now that's done now all that is left is flush the fluids and do the rear and front axle seals yet but she's gettin there. I CAN"T WAIT

Here's my 84. Have about 3000 miles the engine that I rebuilt last summer.
Big plans, small wallet.
