So heres my question. I found a detroit locker for a 4 cyl third member, however I have v6 third members. Now the inside of the carrier bearings are different, but are the outside of the carrier bearings the same? I was thinking if they are, I can use 4 cyl carrier bearings on the locker so it will fit my v6 third. You might ask, "why not just buy a v6 detroit third?", well this guy has a NOS detroit locker, local, and I have my front axle apart now so nows the time to do it. I wasnt originally planning on putting in a locker, but it might be fun. Your thoughts are appreciated.
