I have an '84 22r. It runs like crap until it warms up. Do they have cold start injectors?

no it has a carburetor...check your timing...I believe its supposed to be 8* BTDC.

Also more details on what kind of noise, what part of the motor it is coming from, etc.

Not really any noise to speak of. Just runs like it's getting too much or not enough fuel. I did some more searching and I am leaning towards the accell pump diaphram. A carb rebuild kit would include that right?

Maybe the choke is not operating properly.

84 22R carb.

Timing is +5 Degrees. But sounds more like a carb. problem. Timing problem would be persistant, hot or cold.

Did some research. Rebuilt the carb. AAP diaphram was torn. Runs great now. End of story. Yay.
