what happened to tube doors

ok i was lookin for some tube doors for my 81 pickup i couldent find any on marlin crawler, trail gear, or addicted offroad im going to need some for this summer.


where can i find some for a good price

hmm, would it be hard to make your own? im a door-on-the-truck kinda guy, but if i can fab up tube doors ill use them in the winter

what if i got door mount brackets, then drilled them out to make a quick release, then welded the brackets to a vertical 1" pipe, then welded a D shape to the vertocal pipe and weled vertical slats on the inside of the "D"?

in most places .. tube doors are illegal for street use .. check your local laws !!!

1/2 doors are ok .. IF DONE RIGHT !! again .. check your local laws !!

im only gonna use them in the winter, nobody ever drives on the road when weget more then 2 inches...last winter we got upwards of 3 feet of snow. ill keep my doors in the bed though just incase lol

half doors are not that hard, just need to be able to cut a set of doors and weld
even I am going to attempt it
