Does anyone know where I can find the gross weight, gross vehicle weight rating, gross bombination weight rating, and empty weight of a 1981 JT4 truck??? ----other than on the truck------I'm looking for specs I guess.

 

2wd or 4wd? Should be on the drivers door jam either way, if I remember correctly. What's the reason for wanting to know this? More info helps us give you better answers. I have a 81 4x4 and can look tonight if that's the truck in question.

 

The truck is a 2wd..

I am buying this truck and the sticker is gone from the door jam. The title is in another state that mine and that info is not on the title...............but in my state the application for title asks for these weight ratings..............thanks

 

If there is no door jamb tag you should not buy the truck for starters. It is likely to be stolen. Check the frame VIN on the passenger side wheel well to see if it matches the other 3 tags.

Is this truck a long bed or short bed?

 

Yep.......all the numbers match up and the title is good. This truck is a short bed.
