Some scam post was posted on craigslist where I live. At least I am fairly sure it's a scam, but look at this awesome truck, someone must know who owns this thing.
Their pictures are being used to scam(at least I am fairly sure) doing the whole okay great just send me money and your full name and what not, and we will have ebay ship it too you, kind of scam.

 

I have seen this truck for sale recently, wasn't it on bring-a-trailer or something?

 

Well this one was posted on my local craigslist for 2500$, kinda' tells you its a scam right there. lol I just know I have seen this truck before and can't place where it was. I assume it was on this site.

 

I haven't seen that truck on here but it is possible. For $2500 I would tell them I do Cash On Delivery. I would pay it too, that is a sweet truck. I was selling a truck and someone was trying a similar tactic. They would send a check or money order from England. I told them I would accept cash only and sure the company that would haul the truck to where ever could pay cash on picking it up. Some have been robbed by scams like these.

 

Yeah I contacted her at first but its one of those scams. She says ebay has it in a shipping container waiting for shipment. I am no expert at selling on ebay but never heard of giving ebay any item to hold onto for you.
Plus she is selling the same truck all over the country as well as tons of other vehicles, and she doesn't get the specs right in her emails which are clearly form letters and reply to questions I didn't ask but one would expect someone too ask. Also doesn't get the specs right in the listings, like saying it has a automatic when it is a manual. stuff like that. Basically she want me to send "ebay" the cash then "ebay" will send me the truck, once I have it they will send her the money. Smells way too much like a scam too me. Her email is katielblack186@gmail.com I wouldn't buy from that email.

 

Yes that one was on eBay a few months back......went pretty high in bidding, someone lifted the pics for this scam listing....happened to a truck I sold on eBay years ago, someone posted my identical ad with a different seller, I reported it to eBay and it was eventually removed....no shortage of scumbag losers out there in their mothers basement......

 

I figured someone would know about it. Maybe it was a ebay listing where I saw it.

 

I just went back in my ebay history...that truck sold for $9500. back in December...heres the link if it still works..

Too bad I can't contact the guy, I don't have an ebay account. I was going too let him know so he could get the pictures pulled.
