Aren't "Mojave stripes" just a pair of gold pinstripes? Those could be easily replicated.

no not really .. certinally not as pictured in that pic ..

the 4X4's had a "tribal art " decal down the sides , front to rear , about 6-8" wide .. there are also 2 tribal stripes dow the hood ..

I know I have pics , somewhere !!

I bet that's what they looked like when they rolled onto the lot. And is that the factory brown? Mine was originally brown too I'd love to go back to that myself. The mojove edition is pretty killer..a sunroof? cool paint for sure

Great looking truck! You really don't see to many brown paint jobs anymore, but I too have always liked the color. I do like the Mojave looke, but I think that the tribal design could use a more.. uh modern? look, but nothing too new, or it will not look right on the truck. I hope you have much better luck than I do. Every car i have painted or had painted has always been scratched or dented within the first month. It's like new paint is a summons for idiots to park near it and fling their car doors into the shiny new paint. Hope to see more on this truck and it's progress in the future.

actually it is .. just not in the USA (so it dosnt mean it isnt original)

as an eye witness (I Managed a dealer for 20 years) .. Mojave 's were only avaliable in the USA as 2WD's .. the rest of the world got the 4WD's .. here in Canada , we got both , this is EXACTLY how they were .. in fact .. the one pictured is propabaly the best example with less then 10K on it . it was stored for decades , and is absolutly original .
