The third pic is the most current one. A buddy of mine offered me a good bed and the stock chrome bumper for my bumper so I traded it off since my bed is shot. Now I just gotta shorten the new bed to mach the old one and get it back in the garage and start puting the 350 in I got everything to bolt it in so I can go back to the four banger if I ever want to. That bumper was fairly easy to build I think it only took a couple hours to throw together

Yeah It came out looking alot better than I thought it would. I have been thinking about puting my 350 in it instead of my truck but I'm not sure what to do at this point

My 83 Regular Cab 4x4

Hey guys, i just bought this truck a few weeks ago and am about two weeks into working on it so i thought i would let you guys check it out and see the work ive done so far. hope you like.

Its an 83, 22r motor. not sure how many miles are on it but im sure its over 250K on the original motor. runs and idles great. it does have an ignition problem that i cant seem to figure out. https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f114...n-over-216381/

it has detroit locker front and back. an internal inch and a half roll cage, ifs power stearing(i think thats what its called). alarm, ac, radio works ok but im replacing the antenna asap, it has a 3" lift with ranch 9000 on it i believe. cant really read the label. theres 33"x15.50 dunlop mud terrain tires. it has a coil shut off that the first owner installed so it cannot be bump started unless in the run position used with a key. it has rock guards on it as well.

theres the rock guards. they also have them behind the rear tires.

theres some paint that's messed up and surface rust but i have been sanding it all out and doing all the dody work myself.

i have that dent pulled out and bondoed. i should have those pics up shortly.

the original interior

1 1/2" roll cage

ripped out the old carpet. got new stuff. going to put it in after paint.

got the tailgate sanded and most of the rust gone.

bed sanded and rust out and treated.

continued..

i currently have the bed sanded and bondoed and primed. i should have more picures up in a few days. let me know what you think or if you have any suggestions for what im working on. thanks.
