Wink My 1982 brake breaker, ready to rumble!!!

i recent rebuild the front diferential. and change all suspension stuff., i buy another truck with a hydraulic steering to put in my truck.

one i just got done builing for my uncle. 82 longbed. 30x7-15 sx intercos. did not check tire pressure that am and blew a bead.


here is one i just picked up for.......$160 even has a limited slip third member that came with it.

I can't find one in that condition for anything less than $1500 here in the PNW... You scored! Does it have a title?

I'm running 31s with a 20r with an l43 (side shift) tranby and i believe the 4.7 gearing what can I do to get more speed (it's a dd) but keep a good balance in power and speed? Any suggestions I'm open minded

Here is an "artsy" picture of my 79 when i was in high school. I sold it back in 98, big mistake. I'll try to get a picture of my 83 in a couple of days. Once you own a 1st gen, there is nothing else like it.

It was white with a black lower. I never bothered to search what the OEM color was. It was a repaint at some point.

No the truck is what I want and I don't want any major speed but I'd like to be able to hit 60 with out it being revved up so high!

Well duck, if its any consolation my 4sp 22r w/31s runs at about 3200 at 65 mph. hopefully the L52 thats going in soon with help with that.

yea it has one somewhere....just need to track it down otherwise i just get a bonded title and it only costs $70 here in az
