Gear oil in trans.

Gear oil in trans.
Is it safe to run a GL5 75-90wt in my '80 4 speed trans? I know that most manuals take a GL4, but I'm pretty sure that the Toyota trans is rated GL4/GL5, I'd just like some confirmation.

At least on my '85, GL-4 or Gl-5 is OK:
