More info on seat install

I have had several people asking for more information on my seat install, so I am adding some more pics and info. Let me know if there is anything else you guys need.
First I set tthe seats in the truck where I wanted them. I ended up needing to drill 2 new holes for the front bolts. It helps if you just trace the holes, then remove the seats to drill. For the rear flat bracket I used washers (temp till I make a steel spacer) to level the seat out. For the 60deg bracket I made a bracket by using a piece of 1/4x 1 1/4" steel. I cut it to length and used a torch to heat it up while I used a hammer to bend it to match the 60 deg angle. It helps if you have a vice. One important thing is to use something on the underside of the floor bolt through. That way the bolts don't just rip through the floor. I used a 5" piece of the 1/4" steel. A lot of my pictures are blurry because my batteries were dying that night. Let me know if you have any more questions.

Weber Update

So over the past couple weekends I have been trying to figure out why I am not getting fuel. I ended up tearing apart the whole system and found that my intake tube in the gas tank was plugged. I ended up using compressed air to get it out. The filter that goes on the end of the tube was still in good shape so I am not sure how it got plugged. I just ordered a replacement filter and gasket from the dealer, so hopefully I can put it all back together this weekend. I also ordered two of the nipple things so I can do the axle breathers. I will post some pics after I get it all back together.

Well my tank filter will not be in till Monday so I won't be able t put the fuel system back together untill next weekend I did luck out tonight and found a MC rear bumper on CL for a good deal. It is in really nice shape. Now I just have to get the stock bumper and a homemade hitch off the back. The bolts are really rusty.

Well I got the home made hitch off. Wait till you see the pics of this thing, it weighs a ton. I can't get all the bumper bolts out. There just is not enough room and they are rusted too bad. I am going to pull the bed off and cut the damn bolts off. Plus then I can clean up the surface rust on the frame and repaint it. Sand down the bed and paint and bedline it too.

No, I am keeping the weber for now. I got it running pretty well now. I do have two stock carbs to get rid of though if anyone is interested.
