Having trouble getting the crank shaft pulley bolt off. Tried impact already... is it reverse thread? Any suggestions?

Well you could put it in 4WD and 4th gear and see if the back pressure on the motor will hold it while you use your breaker bar.

The starter trick, where you put a long breaker bar on the passenger side frame rail, pull the coil and bump the starter.

However, I have never met a craftshaft pully bolt that a large impact can't handle.

Good Luck

Should not be reverse threaded.

I have done the starter trick before but be damn sure which direction you need to put the bar on. Its been a long time and I dont remember.

I was scared of the starter method so I just used a breaker bar. Spray some liquid wrench or something on it, and get a large breaker bar. Mine really didn't take too much persuasion. Just make sure you look at where your knuckles are going to hit when it breaks loose I learned my lesson the hard way. It really does take a lot of torque, but there's no reason you shouldn't be able to get it with a breaker bar if it's not all rusty or something.

An actual breaker bar works better, but honestly all I used was a 16" piece of pipe on the end of my regular socket wrench.
