It's one or the other. One has to ride in the bed.

Yeah unles you have a chiwawa (f* the spelling lol) then its gonna be really uncomfortable. Put the dog in the back. Get a campershell. Open your rear slider. Then you got your woman, and dog slobber on your shoulder. Its a win win.

i have an '80 (i think) that has a bench seat in it. if you didnt live so far away you could have it.

i think alot of it comes down to how big your dog is and how big your grilfriend is

A Chevy seat would never fit in the Toyota cab.

some 84-88 Toyota trucks had benches ..

I took out the buckets in my old truck and put in a bench from an /88 and also the 3rd seat belt .. I liked way more (sorry no pic) only one of the old girl ..... (actually I did this to 3 of my trucks )

I also did this on my /86.. with a 90's 60/40 bench with an armrest

Just look around at junkyards for a while you can probly find a bench out of any yota pickup. Should fit fine.

pretty much any Toyota Bench Seat up to a 3rd Gen truck should work. Be prepared to make some mounts and drill the floor. Hope your dog is a small one...

I had a bench seat that was factory in my 80. I took it out and trashed it because it was like riding on set of springs, just a bit too bouncy for me. I put in a set of acura integra bucket seats in it's place and have not looked back since. I tried several different seats to see if any would be a drop in a and bolt in job and had no luck. You are most likely going to have to make your own seat brackets. However, you will most likely need a bench seat from a small truck like mazda, nissan, s10, ranger, etc.. the fullsize seats will be too big.
