I am trying to get an AC system on a 1981 4x4 going. My hose has a hole in it.

I was wondering if anyone had a used hose or knew where I could buy a new one?

It is the short hose that goes from the compressor to the condenser next to the radiator.

Tried everywhere, even the dealer ship.

You can get your current hose repaired. Go to a shop that specializes in automotive AC systems. They should be able to make a new hose by removing your fittings from your current hose and putting them on a new hose (or they should be able to refer you to someone who can). I had this done and I think it was under $50.

 

my local napa will make these hoses for you just take old one in and they will match it up
