79-83 4wd Rear Mud Flap Brackets

As we all know how rare parts are for these trucks, I'm trying to find a set of rear mud flap brackets for my 1981 Toyota 4wd pickup. Anyone know any good sources and or does anyone have any for sale haha. I've been looking for a long time and they are very rare apperently. Any truck in a salvage yard they are usually gone or destroyed. Internet are sources are bleh. EBay shows no luck. EBay has every single year trucks mud flap parts but the one I need haha. Toyota can no longer get them/discontinued. Still looking all the time, just thought I would vent here on YotaTech haha.

I had one crack, and found a piece of sheet metal the right size and riveted it to the cracked bracket. It's holding up OK so far. Maybe you could just fabricate them?

I have a full set of front and back with the brackets off the 82 in my sig. I have not looked at them in awhile but I remember them being in great shape. I saw a rear set go for over 200 on ebay. I will look at them to see if they include the bracket you are needing. Im pretty sure I kept the bracket also. PM me with a list of what you need and I can try to see what I have and shoot me what your willing to pay for them. I am in need of several parts for my 2 1981 projects.

Would these be what you're looking for? There's a rip in one of them.

I have been looking for the two brackets attached to the mud flaps you show in the pictures, are they for sale?

^--- That's interesting information. Wonder if they are all more or less interchangeable. I mean these model years all share very similar beds.

It is easy to just frankenstein everything you like into one truck.

81 Long bed with 22r and optional L52 5 speed and moonroof has the best of all years IMO...

I know this thread is ancient but I just bought an '83 and need to fabricate these. The front flaps and brackets are present, but the rears are entirely MIA.
Would some kind user who has these on his/her truck mind posting a few photos of the brackets and the flaps? I need to know if the flaps are anything more than just a stamped rectangle of steel with holes drilled in it. I need to know the height and width of the flap and the total width of the Toyota logo. My plan is to just cut these out of reinforced rubber and then order a set of vinyl letters in the correct size. It won't be perfect but it will be a lot closer to stock than what I have.

Thank you to anyone who can help!

Thank you, Slacker! That will help. Would it be possible for you to tell me the height and width of these? I have a press; I can make them.
Anyone with these mud flaps willing to go out and grab a few measurements for me please, as illustrated in the attached photo?

Total height of the flap, total width, distance from the bottom to where it curves, distance from the bottom of the flap to the bottom of the lettering? Thank you so much!
