22R Engine Refresh?

I currently have a 20R and I'd like a bit more power. I have an early 22R in the garage and I've considered doing a hybrid one day. In the meantime I'd like to throw this in to see how it feels compared to the 20R.

I have a 32/36 weber that I plan to swap over, and a pacesetter 4-1 header. The clutch looks like it was replaced recently. The plan is to pressure wash/clean the 22R and repaint the block.

What I was planning to replace:

1. Valve cover gasket (w/ half moon gaskets)
2. New Valve cover hardware
3. Waterpump w/ gasket
4. Thermostat
5. Spark plugs w/ wires
6. Intake/exhaust manifold gaskets
7. Intake/exhaust manifold studs
8. Front main seal
9. Rear main seal
10. Emissions delete (block off plates, etc)

Can you think of anything else I should replace?

Doesn’t sound to me like you would spend that much more to build the hybrid. If I were going to do that much I would go ahead and just freshen up the 22R and put in there with the 20r head
