haha, you guys are funny... Chris, Don't forget the URD kit... thats a big difference. And, my shifts are now quicker too... Also, don't plan on gett'n 35s unless all you want to smell is my dual exhaust!

Well, it was closer than I was expecting... I'd like to see what happens from a stop. I can't wait til next time also! By that time I should have a chip and exhaust ( Just got the cold air intake and short shifter in) They say 10-12hp each... and that the US version of the R actually is 250hp not 240. So that puts me at about 280 all motor and 60lbs less. Should be a good time I also just had my 20k service (which includes a tune up) and damn... it made such a difference! I couldn't believe it. Anyway, can't wait for the rematch sherp! It should be a good race!

PS, andy... got a couple for you to choose from. Either of these work?

If I can find a donor vehicle soon we might do it this year. I’ve been looking. But I’m planning to do the swap next summer.

Keep an eye out for a 1999-2000 totaled 4runner or if the price is right I’ll take any 3.4 totaled vehicle (taco, runner, or t100).

I know a guy here who may have a couple of 3.4 motors-I guess you will need the entire front driveline though and his are probably from 2wd's.

Cool! I'm driving-watch out!

Best all motor times with the Sentra 13.9 @96 in the 1/4
8.71@81 in the 1/8

It was an 1/8 mile beast-the race cams and valve springs that I needed were still being developed when I sold the car-with those it would have been at least a low 13 sec 1/4 car at probably around 100-103 mph, but so goes life.

I've got some vhs tapes of me racing it-that's how long ago it was-1998

If I can get the wiring harness and the ECU and the price is right, maybe. I could find a transmission and a transfer case.

Awesome, this car should be about the same. A guy with nothing but a cone filter (usually takes power) and the exhaust flap mod got a 13.91 @ 99.7mph, 1.97 60ft

Cool, a supercharged 4runner has no chance at running that. My best 60' on 20x8x14 Mickey T slicks was 1.87, on 14" Bridgestone RE-71 street tires, it was 2.17. A few launches on those slicks (like maybe 50 launches or so at 7500 rpm drop clutch) ate the spider gears and limited slip in my diff. But you have awd, so no need for another set of tires and wheels for that.

Ok, you're right, Austin start a new thread for that. I consider myself guilty of following his lead.

My grandmother always said patience is a virtue. LOL!!! I’m going to work on mine tonight and tomorrow.

EDIT: She’s still alive so I guess it’s says not said.
