Haha Morphine, its kinda cool to see my bumper on your truck. Anyways, my truck got hit by a drunk driver, I should have it back in about 2 weeks, so after that I want to do some runs. Apparently, there is a few of us that want to meet up and go.

We made the rack. I have one on my truck as well. It also has a canvas cover that goes on, making it similar to a can-back. We also are in the process of designing a swing-up tire carrier that will be over the slanted part on the back of the rack.

Man, it's so funny to see the rack finished. You were working on and talking about it when I was over there! Now that I see it I want one too! The tire carrier sounds like a killer idea, and what was with the Hood Scoop I saw in another post????? Bumer to hear about the drunk driver and the truck...were you hurt at all?Well I'll talk to you later.

Not to thread jack...

Yeah the racks turned out great! Thats roberts truck in the pics, mine is in the shop getting repaired... Both trucks have similar racks we made. The tire carrier is going to be awesome if it comes out how we imagine it. The hood scoop is a 3rd gen 4runner sport hood scoop that I had graphted onto my hood (my buddy did the body work) to make room for the 3.4 that I put in the truck. If you look closely, in the pic i posted to be photoshopped, the hood is propped up about an inch in the back, this is so the hood can close and not hit the intake manifold. I ran around with it like this for about 6 months before I had the scoop done. Yes it is a bummer that the truck got hit... but it will be ok the truck is being repaired and will live on to be bigger and badder than ever. The accident was a slow speed accident, no injuries involved.
