Iron Chest 10-11-09

DIRTCO's clean turbo 4Runner on 35's next to my beat up POS on 39.5's

Heading up the boulder field

At the top. Snow level was minimal. A couple of inches in spots. Wind was blowing hard, probably 40 mph gusts and cold wind chill.

We decided to eat lunch in the rigs, too cold and windy.

The lineup

Some of the building are holding up well, others are not.

Storm clouds brewing.

2 Toyota's and a Jeep.

Amazing to think they got that big spool up that road.

My almost 2 year old's first trip out!

Funny face for the camera

Gotta love the reverse shell wheel with the safety bead on the outside. I didn't even notice it was off the wheel, Mike and Jeremiah chased me down the trail about 100 yds.

No rim damage. Took a couple of ratchet straps and Mike's OBA to get it seated.

Turning around on Grizzly Lake after the first section.

Colorado a nice place to live? My wife is a city slicker and I'd rather live a bit out of the city.

This building was amazing, it would move around a bunch in the the wind (you could hear it moving around too). I don't really think it will still be standing in a few years, there's not much keeping it together right now.

Above the building

And back at the parking lot
