AZ Wrenching and Meet & Greet

Not sure if this where I should put this, but I'm going to Chandler to work on my truck with lofreqjeff on the weekend of August 8th. We decided since both of us would be down there we could get some other guys from yotatech down there to either help wrench on my truck or maybe have a bbq. We could use some help on my truck since we both don't know exactly how to do some of the stuff. If you are interested just post up and let us know.

Dang, thats one of my few w/e work days. Since I'm not required to do many of them I'm afraid it would be frowned upon to call in. Otherwise I'd love to join you guys. Only question is why don't you wait for it to warm up a bit more?

I'm replacing almost all the steering parts. Pitman and Idler Arm, tie-rods and all the ball joints, and installing BJ Spacers as well.

Right now it hates it, I have correded spark plugs and crappy wires, which I will be replacing while Im down there too. Hopefully that will help it out a little. But I'm totally gutless up here, has so much more power down there.

Dang, Jeff was telling how much you know and could possibly help out on. I was trying to do it before it go hot, but had to wait on parts and had to do some family stuff so we had to wait it out till now. Hopefully its not has hot as it has been down there

I just ask because the 22re in the pickup struggles a bit and I'm about to get a 4runner with a 22re. I make that trip alot in the winter to go boarding.

Coming up I had to use 3rd a lot for the hills and use 4th a lot on thed freeways but my buddies who have the 3.0/auto say it is a lot worse drivineg with that than the 22re/5-speed. It is going to suck when I get 33x10.50 and I have to wait to regear.

If it was not such a drive I'd come down and tease you a bit. I'd even drink you beer so you could keep a clear head while you worked. See how nice I am.

Wanna see some pic's.

We'll have a photographer/tool gofer/waitress to help us out all weekend (my gf). But I'll leave it up to RedRunner_87 to post.

Those are the best kind of helpers.
good luck to ya.
From what you said with all that your replacing should not be all that bad. I hope you have been spraying the heck out of the parts with PB Blaster.

Here is a good link to get your front end aligned when your done.
