I recently discovered that vehicles with mud flaps are not meant to be driven off road in reverse. I managed to remove 3 of 4 in one manuever.

ive never lost any.....had one have a loose bolt a few times, just tightened up..

Yeah, I learned that myself. I backed over a curb and pulled one off.

wow. i never knew mudflaps were required by law in CA. i see alot of vehicles without them...

I just got my 2nd mud flap ticket
I'll come up with some quick disconect mud flap. I think no matter how I do it, it's gonna look ugly.....

I just used the stock (1st gen) flaps and they look OK:



I've got to change them a bit since w/ 35s they'll be a little too short. I'll be using a larger set of flaps mounted the same way. Also will be adding some front flaps, more for keeping mud and water off the side windows.
