ive been searching on ways to rid my 4runner of the aweful gas tank skid to drive shaft grinding noises i got when i installed my OME 901 coils. i ordered a panhard drop bracket from 4crawler to hopefully fix the issue. anyway, during the search i kept reading i needed to do something to my LSVP?? bracket. first of all i dont even know what that is. from what i gathered it's a brake proportioning valve or something to do with the brakes. is this a pretty important fix to do when installing the lift? ive got 33" tires as well so i would think keeping the brakes strong is a necesity for safty reasons. long story short... what is the LSPV bracket and what do i need to do (if anything) to compensate for the lift. can i buy this part or does it need to be custom made? (im not the handiest)

In short, raises the sensing rod on the rear brake proportioning valve to compensate for the lift. Why? Sensing rod operates the LSPV telling it to lower rear brake pressure when there is less load on the rear axle to prevent the rear brakes from locking up. How does it do this? Ride height. If the ride height is high, that indicates no weight in back, thus lower rear brake pressure. Ride height low = lots of weight in back = higher rear brake pressure. Problem is the LSPV can't tell if the higher ride height is due to no weight in back or due to a suspension lift. Raise the sensing rod an amount equal to the lift height and all is back to normal.

On the coil spring axles, the LSPV bolts are side by side instead of vertical, but the idea is the same.
