315/75-16's under my truck...

(34.6" x 12.4") how much of a pain in the butt would it be to make these fit? Only reason I ask is that I may get a great deal on a set. I'm running 16" tundra steel wheels so that is why I was asking about the 315's. I had planned on going with BJ spacers up front and shackles/ add-a-leafs in the rear but I know it would take more than that to fit these meats.

If you decide not to do it let me know...I'd like a great deal on a set of 315's I have already done almost everything to make them work

Haha, I might pick 'em up (they're local) and just trade somebody for a smaller size. They're procomp M/T's w/very little use. After reading the other posts it seems like kind of a lot of work for only a little more tire.

They wouldn't be that hard to fit..I only had to trim out like 1" from my fenders in front for 34 and cut off my pinch weld, I'd get em cut your fenders and see where that takes you. Throw some BJ spacers up front and chevys or some other 2" lift spring in the rear and you'll need a BL unless you want to cut more.

Put on a 1" RB body lift combined with BJ spacers and match the rear with shackles/new springs or AAL

That should net you close to 3" if you crank the t-bars just alittle. The procomps run small anyways, the wheels you run with be a determining factor as well...but I'd just go for it. It will be worth it. WHen I lifted my 4runner a couple inches and put 32x11.5s on, the added clearance made a huge difference off road.

though if you dont have any lockers...id put the $$ toward that before trying to make bigger tires fit.
