Wildernest camper on a Taco

Unfortunately I'm selling the camper top. (want to upgrade to a Dcab!) But since I posted pics of it, I figured some of you might have always wondered what one looked like opened:

They are so so comfortable (especially after a long mtn bike ride).

Cheers,
Jason

Cool! Thanks for sharing the pics. I was curious what they looked like on the Tacoma. I like the 360 view from inside that you made. Good luck with the sale and your new Dcab.

I thought that address looked familiar. It matched the ad in the paper on the table this morning. Do you ever want to go off-road camping? I tow a mini tent trailer behind my 1st gen. I'm about 15 minutes East of Boulder

Hey, youngfellow

I have a question or two related to your pop-up trailer towing

Nice pictures. I think those things are pretty neat.

JPE,
You don't by any chance live just off Gillaspie in Boulder. I used to pass by a truck with that type of cap when I went walking and wish it was on my truck. Guess I'm a little too far away now to swing by and look at it. Good luck on selling it, I'm guessing there should be a lot of interest in your area.

MnBoy,
I actually live off of 9th and Maxwell in Boulder (is that near Gilespie?) I will certainly miss the camper top...

I would think demand would be high, it took me a long time to find this a few years ago. They stopped making these around '96 and there is nothing quite like them now.

There are a handful off them around Boulder--probably more than anywhere else!

One thing that is similar and is still produced is the Flip-Pac from Six-pac. They fold forward over the cab. Then there's a bed over the cab and a standing area over the truck bed.

They're also availble for roof racks. Seem like a good product.
