Timing belt kit question

Ok I'm picking up a used motor has 78k on it. What all should I do for the timing belt stuff. I know timing belt and water pump what else should be done thanks also oem or name a good aftermarket brand. Wanna be good for the next 100 k

A 3.4l engine? If so, the kit in post 1 or 6 above (or AirCabinMans less expensive kit) will do the job. Also, pick-up a crank bolt from the local dealer as it's listed as a non-reusable part.

Post 1 here for a very good tutorial.

How much is a motor with that low mileage costing you, if you don't mind me asking?

I got lucky and found one on Craigslist for 550 I pick it up. O by the way I did use the search just so everyone knows. The motor was a steal

Lol damn motor swap started early I will try to post them soon I get ou of work then go work on it till midnightish I hope it's worth the motor change heap cause its a pia

Blew the oil filter and threaded nipple right off he'll of a mess getting the old motor out. I got the valve covers and intake cleaned up tonight and found some spray bomb silver looks better than they were. Had to switch out the exhaust manifolds and crosse over pipe. Apparently 99 and 02 are different. Will post more pics tomorrow
