w56 tranny mated to rf1a tcase for sale. $350
i have a w56 tranny mated to a rf1a tcase for sale. i am selling them together as one piece. they came out of a 87 4runner with 212,320 as the final mileage. i am parting out the entire truck and just dropped the tranny and tcase and need to get rid of it.
if you're interested, i'll get pics and a vin number up asap. (with my email in the pic of course). pickup only, this would be a major pain to ship. i would be willing to meet halfway if you're within a few hours away. i'm located in chino hills, california area code 91709.
this tranny and tcase combo always shifted smoothly and never leaked. never had any problems. never popped out of gear. it's in perfect working order ready to be popped back into another truck. i took the shifter levers off because they were sorta old, but if you want em, they're yours. i'll also throw in the front driveshaft for free if you so desire.
$500 for the whole package obo.

Still Available?
I was wondering if that W56 trans was still available and if you know if it fits in a 1991 pickup behind a 22RE. I think I have a W56 from what I can find out, just wonder if you know for sure.

yes, it is still available. i'm pretty sure it will fit, i'm almost positive.
the transfer case shifter is different i believe. 89-95 was a forward shifter and 85-88 was a top shifter. you can read for yourself by clicking here.
and also note that you would have to come and pick this up. haha, sorry but it's just too darn heavy to ship.

but yeah, as you can see it is a w56 tranny and it's still mated to the rf1a tcase. this was the same setup used in all pickups and 4runners from 85-95.
if you want it, it's yours. make an offer.

i'm selling them as a whole, sorry man. it's just not worth it take them apart and i really don't want to mess around inside there.
