Fart can exhaust

What's a used AE fart can muffler worth? Also, wonder what it would sound like on a 22re? If the price is right it may make good tradin material, regardless of whether I like it or not... Here's a pic...

Hmm there pretty much dead on the price then, I've got them down to $20 atm, and now hoping they'll go lower... the rice sound was my biggest concern, my truck sounds odd enough with a tractor muffler on it... im guessing that one in the pic doesn't have a resonator? (this is the pic that was in the ad) I really know nothing of this style exhaust, just seen it on the local facebook buy sell trade, and thought huh interesting...

I agree with peow130. It will sound raspy and rattly and just plain awful with the fart can. If price is an issue, you can get a turbo muffler from Summit racing equipment for the almost the same price and it will sound a heck of a lot better.

I got a thrush turbo from my local auto parts store, I think it was like $30. Much better then a fart can IMO. I did however have to put a resonator tip on the tail pipe, I didn't like the rasp when backing off a hard throttle.

I'm wrong. I forgot to figure in shipping prices, which is around 10. However, I checked Summits website and they raised the prices of their turbo mufflers. When my dad built his exhaust for his 68 Chevy, they were $16.95. They're now $25.95+. They are actually more expensive than the name brand mufflers, by about a dollar or so. I checked Jegs and they sell Cherry Bomb turbos for 21.95 with around the same shipping prices as Summit. Plus, if you google search "Jeg's online coupons" or "Jeg's promo codes" or something along the lines of that, you can probably find something to cut down the price. Just a suggestion
