If yours came originally equipped with one, then yes. If not, then still yes. You'll just have to swap parts from his '88 to your '89.....like the ECU, distributor, wiring harnesses, etc.

Do a search. I'm pretty sure that I've read that there are differences in the blocks in regard to the motor mounts. The 3VE-FE is from a front wheel drive car, and was mounted transversely. The intake and exhaust were radically different from the truck based 3VZ-E that came in your truck.
If you need to drop in a new engine, take a look in the engine swap section at the 3.4 conversion.
If you need to drop in a new engine, take a look in the engine swap section at the 3.4 conversion.

If what breknraj says is true and the seller labeled incorrectly, that motor would still work in your truck.

that is what i was looking for, i was hoping that he was just on the crack pipe and listed it wrong, which in reality for me is probably better because maybe i can buy it cheap.
