Rebuild my stock carb or buy a Weber

ok guys...i have the option of either rebuilding my stock carb (professionally..by Flightline Motors in Ft. Smith arkansas) or buying a weber 32/36 USED for around $200..

now i AM on a budget..and it would be around $100 to get it rebuilt..

i just need to know if it IS WORTH THE EXTRA $100-$120 for the weber..

i believe the weber is the way to go..but im not so sure my father does..as he would be paying half..lol

well the aisin is better for offroad angles, ive heard, and if you get the webber your going to have to get a set up kit for the 22r (different jets) and an adapter plate,

ohhh dats nice, i dunno i wanna go webber too, for ease of adjustment, as my 86 has no fuel air adjustment...plus has less vac lines to plug maybe some1 els will chime in, but i dont think it really helps with power unless used with a cam and header....i think....

every carb has fuel / air adjustments: jets, bleeds, etc. There's even a High Altitude Compensation option on some 'yotas that you can't get with webers.

Okay. I'll shut up.

see thats the thing...

my 22R in my '86 pickup is Cam'd and its a got a header..HAHAHAHAHA

i think i will split the price of the weber 3 ways...like i did my X-terrains

grandparents, Parents, then me

split $200 3 ways= roughly $65 each..then the rest will come from me..

sounds like a plan to me.LMAO

my grandparents have more money then they know what to do with..so they like to spend it on me every now and then..lol..$65 to them is pocket change
