going to go out and try to unbolt each end of the fuel filter, and jump the fuel pump to see if its making it through the filter sufficiently!

just loosened off the bolt going from the pump to the filter, and then turn ign on and jumped fp and b+, and NO fuel was coming out of the line, so that leads me to beleive that the pump is shot, correct?

SO do you hear the pump running with the jumper in and ignition on? If not, might check if you are getting power to the pump.

power at the pump in the heat was 12v, and the pump actually checked out good....its so weird! intermittent pump problem only when i put it outside in the cold...i'll go check the connection right now again just to make sure its getting 12v at the pump in the cold.

just checked voltage at pump connector, 12v steady...checked ohms outside in cold and get an open reading....multimeter just displays a 1...so i guess pump is shot, reads good 30-40 in heat, but not outside...weird!! ill change pump and report

Sorry about the out of order post when I pulled it up Half the thread wasn't there. Anyways I know you said you have spark but have you pulled all the plugs and looked at them. That will tell you for sure which cylinder are not running and if they either have spark or don't have fuel. And I have seen pumps to test good and run but not in working order. Hopefully the fuel pump will help but I don't think it's gonna be a cure all.
