22R valve train noise

I thought id ask you guys as you have far more 22R,s than we do in AUS.
Whats the noise that sounds like a tappet noise in a 22R but isnt loose valve clearance. Its not hitting the rocker cover either. I set the valves on the tight side to try and quieten it down and yes the tappet noise is fine now just this other noise . Its not the timing chain , im guessing worn rockers as its worse when hot .

The rocker arm assemblys on our trucks can wear out and make noise, are you sure its not a rod knock or something like that ?.

An overtightned vavle cover can cause a vavle clatter type noise.
