solved the birf issue, now caliper problem
Ok gents.... you guys got me through the snap ring problem, now I'm putting the ifs callers on my 85 and I got the driver side on but can't get the passenger side caliper bolts to line up and thread. Any tricks?..... thanks!

Threads are fine but the bolts are as old as the truck, maybe new bolts?, the ear tabs look true to me. I just can't seem to get even one of the bolts started to hold the Damn thing in place so I can work on the other one. The driver side was much easier but still not a cake walk.

Remove the pads. Most of the aftermarket V6 pads are too big on the bottom and hit the knuckle ears. Grind the bottom of the pads where the squeekers are located.
See it all the time.
