Wheres a good grounding spot for lights?
I think Im gonna do some more witing for my Hella 500s tomorrow, and was wondering where is a good place to ground them. Is the grille gaurd sufficient? Is there a place close by behing the grille to ground?

Any of the random holes that are drilled into your engine bay will work, I just used the two right in front of the radiator as mine...haven't had any problems yet. If you can't find any close enough to where you mounted your lights...just make your own spot

So this ground dosent have to be PERFECT like a high power Amplifier? As long as its connected to a piece of metal its good? w00t..easier than I expected...

Drive a 36" steel stake into the ground, install a ground clamp on it, and run a solid 10 ga copper wire to it and clamp it on...

My lights are grounded just through their mounts to the bumper. I also ran the ground wire to the bumper.

My Hella's directions said to hook it up to the negative terminal for the battery. If you don't want to do that there's always the ground on the fender for the battery as someone already mentioned.
