I have a 50-series, delta-flow in my '85. 50-series will be quieter than the 30-series (40=2chamber, 50=3chamber) and the delta-flow helps reduce resonance in a full bodied vehicle:

I got the 50 series Delta and it's not that loud itself except for drone at 1800-2000 rpm, which I was told because of my 3" stainless tip, it amplifies the drone. Sounds great at WOT.

The clamps work fine for me, I've had the exhaust in and out and changed it so many times that it has come in very handy to be able to take it apart. I'll probably be welding up more of it as time goes by.
Can't beat Alcan springs, they take a licking and come back for more!!!

I've go a 50 series ss delta flow on my 2nd gen with a high flow cat and I really enjoy it. It sounds nice when I get on it or just sitting at idle. It's not real loud and that's what I like about it. The drone mentioned earlier is something I've been experiencing also, but it's not bad. As far as where to buy......Call up 4wp(I know I know), but I got my ss 50 series delta flow for like $90 or $95 bucks. Just call them up and tell them what you want, know exactly what you want so that there are no questions about it. Pick up a high flow cat also.....I think it helps out. Sorry so long, but I hope it helps....I do a ton of research before I buy so I like to let folks know what I've learned when I can....This was the best deal I found. If you have any other q's just ask

I have a 40 series Flowmaster on my 3.0L and I love it. It's loud, but not too loud. And you can't beat the sound IMO.

I have the 60 series. I love it. It is loud, but not obnoxious. The best part is that it is very quiet when cruising on the freeway (no drone).

I have a flowmaster 50 series on my 96 v-6. it sounds really good with the ISR and open deckplate.
On my 22re '89 I had the 40 series. It sounded more like a bee in a tin can sort of noise, but, still alright I guess.
