I'm thinking of doing my rockers up to the first indentation on the door but I'm going to confer with a paint specialist friend before I start anything.

It's close to a semi gloss look to it. I'm not sure what the staying power of the shine is for this stuff. I know most fade over time. I wanted a matte finish to mine at first as well, but this is growing on me.

Looks good man, next you should definitely get some black headlight w/ black corners (image below). That'd look totally sick. I actually ordered some yesterday! Can't wait to get them!

Those black headlights... When you buy them do you get the glass lense as well? On my pass. side I have two large chips in mine from rocks. Or do you take off those lenses from your old headlights and use them on the new black headlights?

Yeah it's like a brand new headlight, new glass, new everything. Whole headlight assembly w/ black corners too!

Be aware of the "black" headlamps since they are just OEM ones taken apart and painted then put back together and some people are reporting some funky beam patterns;there is some risk here so buyer beware.

Well, you have them ordered already. Let me know how you like them. I think window tint and a lift is next on my list. Headlights later....

Just emailed Steve at SS... How's $300 for shipping to me!!! LOL I hate UPS, FedEx, USPS....

Yeah I've heard about that, I don't see why opening up the headlight and painting it would effect the beam pattern? All those that I have talked to with the black headlights haven't had any issues with the beam pattern being bad.

There's alot of variables that can be present when opening up a headlamp that Toyota never intended to have opened and it's not like alot of these people are pros at this and sometimes the workmanship is kinda shoddy since there's nothing regulating the part.

I think the odds of getting a set that's fine is more likely but you do take a chance.
