Know anything about "Lane's" car care products?

http://www.lanescarproducts.com

I won a monthly drawing on one of the boards I am on and get to choose from any four of Lane's products. What would you choose?

There's a subtle irony here, on the board I won this from, there's a LOT of show quality trucks, especially the dropped set. The 4x4 section is only a small percentage of the traffic. Of the 4x4 section, I think I am the only SAS rig and I am probably the one least likely to "detail" my rig... ehhehehhe I guess I will have to learn

I was thinking... since everybody likes that smell, why not make an after shave that smells like it?

I am surprised and disappointed I didn't get a response on this thread I had hoped to get some input from the detailing gods on here. Maybe I have offended them by only washing my truck with a pressure washer for the last couple of years?

Don't feel too bad Rob, ever since I made the comment about painting my truck with a rattle can so someone could see what a silver truck looked like
(see https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f2/do-you-have-black-rockcrawlers-silver-taco-4runner-28952/ )all the bling bling guys probably put me on their ignore lists.

Nah, everyone forgot about it until now. Damn thing isn't running again, so I suppose I could paint it just to get some enjoyment out of it.

You let me know where I can get some fuchsia spray paint and I'll give it a shot.

How did I know you would have a place in mind to get paint. I'll just check at Home Depot tomorrow and see if they have pink. Would that be good enough?

hahhahahahhaha

You are off the hook. I would never ask a man to paint his ride pink. Especially since I would never do it myself I am just not a PINK kind of a guy

Actually Rob, your post is the first that mentioned this brand... (at least that I've seen)

On their website is a link to CT, I'd post over there and see what they have to say...most people here are probably hesitant to recommend a product they haven't used.

(with a quick search on here, I didn't see anything on that brand)

Oh...and regarding the rattle-can, I've been touching up my dings for a while now with that good stuff.

(one of the benefits of having a black truck...easy color matching)

The guys on Custom Taco's have written some VERY favorable reviews of the stuff, I just wanted to see if anyone here had used it... Those on CT who have used it, rave about it and claim it beats anything they have tried.

So, I guess I am the guinea pig here... I am not sure I am qualified to do a write up on wax, to my eye, either it works or it doesn't, but in the absence of a real authority doing a comparison, I guess I will have to do.

I couldn't help myself... it smells good. I am not sure it's what a new car smells like, but it's better than the smell of damp carpet It seems to be pretty effective at killing off other odors. I sprayed a bit in the truck and it no longer has that funny smell from the passenger seat where a buddy of mine was when he got his first real taste of rock crawling hehehehe

I was going to ask if that stuff really does smell like a new car. Mine truck still smells like "Frank" and could use some freshener!
