87 sas how much lift do I need for 35s

I got a 87 turbo diesel p/u that I'm building up. Just wondering how much lift do I need in the sas to clear 35's and still be trail worthy, was planning on going with the trail gear 4" if it works.

My Internet sucks, I only have my phone to use, my service is hit and miss. That's why I'm asking. Having little to no Internet sucks. Joys of living out in the sticks...

When I SAS my other 90' 4runner I used all pro 5" front springs and EMU 5 1/2" rear coils , I cleared 36" irocs easily in the front , I had to do a little fender modification in the rear do to the crazy flex in the rear. We also did a 93' runner and switched it to leafs in the rear I believe they were 6" all pro and it cleared 36" irocs too. Hope this helps.

shouldn't you be searching for the amount of lift needed to have your axle not smash into the bottom of the diesel you're swapping in, instead of what size lift you need for 35s (which could technically fit on a stock height rig w/some cutting)

It's the stock diesel engine 2lt in it, now would it be the same problem hitting the oil pan?

No here in Canada, bc. Only reason I bought the truck was cause it was a 2lt diesel and that it came with a spare 2lt diesel too and a bunch of other stuff too. I got a rust free 85 2 wheel frame that it will all be going on. The 87 frame is to far gone.
Hoping to really get going on it next month.
