Sway bar links - 87 4Runner, 4WD, 22RE

So my link look like this:



First silly question

Do I need to put the truck on jack stands to fiddle with this?

And the second one

How do I get the damn thing off? The Hayes manual shows a totally different link.

If you look under where the bolts go through the suspension arm you will see a nut.

might be full of dried mud if your in the mud much

someone put them on backwards the nut most often goes on top.

It all depends just how big you are if you need to jack the truck up to get underneath I do

I took my sway bar off of my 85 4runner and I think it rides a little better and i dont realy notice any difference when cornering
