Piston Ring Installation HELP
Sealed Power E-510K ring set. No instructions in or on the box. No unique marks to differentiate. Any idea which ring belongs on top?

No problem. Glad to help.
Or not. Your description may match perfectly for another brand. They all tend to differ slightly. Even between sets made by the same company.
The Sealed Power WE510KC set(22RE)is almost exactly the same though.
1st Compression
2nd Compression
Here's a pic of an unknown brand of 22RE rings that shows many different types.

For more examples of what I mean see this NPR catalog on page 5 where it shows slight variations between their different series. You'll also notice the differences between their ring designs and Sealed Power rings as well.
Which brand were you meaning to describe anyway? It's sounds sorta like the unbranded ones above.
Here's a visual how the rings are supposed to line up.
The FSM also shows this as how the rings should be installed on the pistons on page EG1-67.
