If you just wanna see pics of trucks take a look here.
One of the things that I have done to my truck in the extra cab part is my air compressor setup. I put the compressor inside in the extra cab storage bins so that it wouldnt see the elements, put the air tank under the bed, and I put the air chuck in with the gas cap.......

I am also not a big fan of the chrome. I got an outstanding deal and just haven't researched enough about painting chrome. My plan is to paint it black.

Here are the pics that you asked for. I also installed bucket seats out of a 4 runner.

are those 6x9's in the access panels? What did you use to cut the plastic out, I want to do that same exact thing, I have wires in there already I am assuming those are pre run speaker wires? I like how you have the CB mounted into the dash.

They are 5x7s and I ran new speaker wire. I didn't want to go with anything to big, because I still use the storage space behind them.

I really haven't had much a rattle problem.... that I know of. But with the 12" sub pounding away, I don't think that I would hear it anyway. I would like to see what you did with your rear speakers.

That's interesting, those are actually storage locations? I've got 6 1/2" speakers there, obviously custom made with carpet covered wood. But the speaker wires are stock, with small amplifiers on each one.

squiddy, I like your tire mount...I was just measuring my bed today thinking about doing the same thing. The only thing that I was semi-worried about was always having extra lbs on one side with my 35 stuck back there but I pretty sure I dont really care cause Im a fat-ass and am on one side so....

i dont have pics handy right now but when i bought my truck it had 6x9s wired up in the small panel below the rear seats. it has the grills to protect them from being kicked out, and its not like whoever sits back there has enough room to mover there feet anyways...

the only mod i have that hasnt been posted is:

Is that the extent of your setup? Do you have anything in place to control the compressor (pressure switch), or do you manually turn it off when it hits a certain pressure?

I've got the compressor, and will eventually put a tank in there as well. Looks like you have the relief valve and a drain on the tank.

I have alot more done to the truck, but that is just what I did with the extra cab part. It does have a pressure switch that kicks it off at 100 psi and back on at 80 psi.

I found one of these compressors at a pawn shop for 30 bucks. I removed the 110 volt compressor and used the tank upside down under my bed, used the pressure switch, the relief valve, and the drain off of it also. The only thing that I had to supply was the 12 volt compressor, for that I went to pep boys and bought the Masterflow MV-1050

OK, here be the speaker pic. Basically mounted speaker (Infinity 6.5 inch) on some high-end plywood (stained and varnished) and mounted that using drywall toggles.

NICE TRUCK!
I copied your rear cap light mod. That cluster set up is sweet!
Nice work.

That white dash through me for a loop. I can't stop looking at it.
I was originally gonna do mine black but now with that spoon in the mix...

As for my Xtra Cab specific mods, two 6x9's in boxes on the rear bench, storage is for straps and emergency gear. Tools fit snuggly under the seats and back pockets.
