I dont have any accesories. my truck clicks once then looses all power, clock, radio, every thing. I move the white wire around a little and it starts up stays running with no probs. does not do this every time but enough to be problematic.

Well, you say you have a turbo, so I can't assure you that wire is not factory. I'm just saying it doesn't appear to be from my experience. Generally you don't see inline fuses in factory setups. You need to find out where those wires originate and terminate in order to start addressing the issue.

The end terminations on the wires to the "cube" are cheap hardware-store "crush-type" fittings, which have no business anywhere near a truck. So you have a modified vehicle, and you'll need to just generate your own schematics.
The "cube" is almost certainly a relay of some sort, but obviously I can't discern its function on your truck.
The white wire could be a fusible link. If partially "blown" it would act as you describe.
Good luck straightening all of that out.

Time to start following wires from the relay 'cube' to figure out what the are doing. Where does that white wire go? The problem may be there in that yellow butt connection....there are a terrible way to connect wires in a vehicle.

When you refer to "this" in a picture with 1,000 parts, the best anyone can do is guess. Use Windows Paint (included for free in very version of Windows since 3.1) to draw a box or an arrow or something right on the picture.

[Don't worry about the cross-reference. Any 12v relay with the correct contacts will almost certainly work. Since I can only see 5 pins in your photograph, it's probably a SPDT relay, and one of the two "throws" is unused. But it's easy to tell when you figure out what it's supposed to do.]
In your picture with the "adapter", almost everything in the picture is non-factory. And if the adapter is non-factory, how would anyone be able to tell its purpose from that picture?
As others have told you, you have to trace through the wiring from the starter back to the panel, to find out why the starter is not getting power.
Good luck.

I suspect the relay because it never made that sound in the past. the wires are power, ground, starter solenoid, and one goes into the wiring harness, not sure on that one. yes im guessing wildly thats why im asking for help.

Sounds like a homemade "hotshot." (A relay to take the solenoid current away from the starter switch.) You're making progress.
You have a multimeter, I hope. http://www.harborfreight.com/7-funct...ter-92020.html Measure the voltage to ground at each terminal of the relay. With key on, you should get 12v at "power," 0 at the rest. With key in start position, you should hear the relay close (however loudly), and you should get 12v on the solenoid wire. The wire that goes into the wiring harness is almost certainly 12v when the key is turned to start, and if you can hear the relay that part is probably good.
If you hear the relay close but get 0v on the solenoid line, the relay is bad. But if the "power" lead drops to anything less than, oh, 12.0v that lead is bad (too high resistance). (You were talking about the problem coming and going when you wiggled a wire -- that could be it.)
If the relay is bad something as simple as this will do: http://www.parts-express.com/pe/show...ource=googleps
If you get good 12v on the solenoid line but it won't turn over, the problem is in the direction of the starter.

so I got my multimeter and I do get power to the starter solenoid but only for about 1 sec then nothing it seems its not even there enough to get the starter turning. I need to remove the key to even be able to make another attempt. could possibly be ignition problems ???? yes im guessing wildly again. will do more investigating.

With your multimeter check voltage to starter without key.
now turn key to on position and check voltage to starter
Idk what this is coming off the positive side batt cable, get a new one and wire it up correctly and see what happens
Also what are those small wires coming off the positive side..what are they for
